oh what a week

It really has been a week of up’s and downs ,

mostly up’s celebrate

This time last week we were in Birmingham children’s hospital with bear while he recovered from his operation.

As a mum I don’t think you can explain the fear and worry , when your child our one and only child is put under general anaesthetic and you leave them behind in the hand of the doctors who literally  have your child’s life in there hands. There are no words.

The operation was a huge success and he’s now back to his normal self but with extra beans. Even his speech and language skills have improved considerably.

That was on Tuesday ,

Then on Friday we finally had the news the news that our house had sold ( and gone through this time ) it was completed and finalised. So after 6 months of paying two mortages we finally have one.

Sunday was the  cherry on the cake as this year I got to spend mothering Sunday with my boy – last year I couldn’t see my bear – I was in hospital and the ward had a bad c diff on the ward and they couldn’t let bear on the ward.

This past year really has been bad but its taught me to be very greatful for what we have – each other , family and love.

  1. Sorry to hear about your previous bad year but it sounds like things are on the up. Glad little bears operation was a success. My son was rushed to hospital last year. Words can’t describe how it makes you feel. Onwards and upwards lovely. xx

  2. What a lot of great news in one week! The paragraph “As a mum I don’t think you can explain the fear and worry , when your child our one and only child is put under general anaesthetic and you leave them behind in the hand of the doctors who literally have your child’s life in there hands. There are no words.” made my skin go cold. I can’t imagine and I’m so happy for you that it went well!
