Last year we moved into our beautiful home its a stunning 1955 semi in the suburbs of Cheshire, we had such grand plans for the rooms, but to be fair it was decorated quite well the second bedroom was bright pink so we thought it wouldn’t be the best colour for bears so we decided to save it for our office – but for now its still our junk room but it needs sorting soon as the hubby has his MBA dissertation to be getting on with and I really want to work in an office not in the front room on the sofa – not exactly a productive workspace 🙁
The third room is for bear, its the box room I guess but to be fair, its quite a big room.
I’ve got so many plans for our bears room I want a cabin bed to create more space in his room but ive heard nightmares of kids falling out of bed and bear has never been a climber, I’m after a bed that just has a loads of storage underneath a place to store all of his Christmas present’s , A cup holder on the side & light that bends over the top so bear can read at night. I love this stompa bed , it would make a perfect addition to his room.
He is currently going through the dinosaur phase so im thinking about getting a light blue and green paint and doing 2 walls in 1 colour and 2 in another. Then turning to pinterest for some inspiration( desperate help muchly needed) I thought about getting some samples of wallpaper and covering canvas boards to make pictures, which can be easily changed as bear gets older.
As for the other storage ill be turning to ikea. I love the strivea range in green and white as its practical and functional.
But for now my plans will have to wait , with Christmas round the corner and then his birthday looks like poor bear will have to wait a little longer for his dream bed and room.
this post is my entry into time4sleeps competition to win the above bed.
