2014 brought a whole plethora of emotions to our world. We started last year on a high as we had just sold our old house but on the 5th of jan the house sale fell though and we were back to paying two mortgages which was tough going on us all. Then in Febuary bear had a check up and we were informed that bear needed a heart operation which saw us enjoying lots of hugs with our precious little bundle who was growing up fast but was still far behind his peers. His op was at the end of March was a huge success, he’s grown 3 shoe sizes and grown 4 inches and he’s now catching up with all the stuff he was behind on at pre school.
At the start of April we sold our house again and this time it went though. May brought bad rain and a leaky roof. June was our first family holiday since our honeymoon. July August saw our first taste of summer holidays well kind of we put bear in nursery two days a week to give me a rest but I spent it doing housework. September saw a little family holiday to Minehead with my mum and dad. October I turned another year older. November I was ill , dam nursery germs got me good. Then December was spent recovering and preparing for Christmas.
This year we start of healthy and with money in the bank and we really want to keep it that way. I have a MRI scan on my shoulder this month so hopefully find some answers as to why it causing me so much pain and lack of movement.
A new year brings a fresh perspective on things and I love it. Our decorations are down and the house is all clean, feels amazingly refreshing to have our house back. Free from tinsel and the tree is gone , the house feels bear but in a good way.
My little blog is a year old this month and I’m looking for a fresh challenge – I cant wait to take part in some photo challenges and some other little projects and hopefully working with some other bloggers.
I’m taking part in project 365 which Is a photo a day , me me and mine which a monthly photo of our little family, and finally #40bags40days which is a challenge to de clutter your house and this is the project I’m looking forward to the most as over the past 5 year we have been gathering more and more junk and then when we moved house last year ( well 2013) we rather stupidly brought it all with us. We should have organised , planned but having a toddler in tow never made things easy. So now every cupboard , storage unit, nook and cranny has stuff in it and ive had enough. So my plan is to sort one room a month and have hopefully 80 bags of rubbish not 40. The #40bagsin40days challenge can take a year – thank god because there is no way I could de clutter my whole house by mid feb
