Last week we were invited along to our local Beefeater restaurant which is the farm house in Crewe. Having been before we knew we were in for a treat as the food is amazing and the staff are so friendly. But this time we were asked to review the restaurant in a different light – as a romantic setting for a valentines meal. unluckily we were unable to get a babysitter so bear came along with us ( well I do love him too )
The Beefeater in Crewe is positioned right next to a Premiere Inn. So if your stopping over its a great place to eat the night of your stay.
Anyways I digress. Romance … when I think of my husband food plays a huge part in his life, he plans his days through food ( just like most men ) and well they do say the way to a mans stomach and all that. Henry is a huge steak fan and over the years I’ve started to eat a lot more meat too. So when I mentioned a romantic meal at the beefeater well his face lit up and well I had one very happy husband.
With the cosy booths or small tables its a very romantic atmosphere at the Farm House. The lighting is very romantic too – not to bright and not so dull you cant see what your eating.
Now on to the food with lots of sharing platters unlimited chips ( skinny or chucky ) and fantastic deals – such as Beefeater’s Say It With Steak offer (3 courses per person for £19.99) is available from Thursday 11th- 14th feb
Our dinner turned out to be a really good night out – I even got to have a drink – well he got steak so I got a drink ( or two ) I had one of their cocktails which were amazing , I’m not a big drinker so I had a ros’e wine spritzer cocktail.
We shared a potato dunkin platter which was very rich and filled us up , with the sour cream sauce and the cheesy dip this was nealy a meal on its own, which was very romantic and very hot ( the chillies )
Henry had the steak I had a hotdog of the lunch menu.
For dessert I had cheesecake and henry had the ice cream which we all shared.
Even though Bear was there it didn’t spoil our romantic evening out, he had a fantastic time with his colouring in and a free book & he loved his desert too ( which he didn’t share)
